Library & Learning Services - Facilities
Hyde Clarendon has a well-stocked Library & Learning Centre with silent study
spaces; video viewing facilities; newspapers, magazines and periodicals;
computers (all with Internet access and USB Ports and print facilities); and
over three hundred videos/DVDs and twelve thousand books. There are no borrowing
charges.
The LLC IT Drop-In is equipped with networked computers, again all with USB
Ports and Internet access, but also with A3 print facility as well as the usual
A4 in colour and black and white. There are also scanning and CD-write
facilities.
Study spaces are also available for quiet group work. Experienced members of
staff are always on hand to help you develop your study skills: they will be
happy to assist you to find material and advise you on its exploitation for
assignments and projects, and to support you in the presentation of your work.
Students also have access to and can borrow from the Ashton site Learning
Centre..
